Branchwater, formerly known as Commonwealth, is Belltown’s Kentucky Bourbon Bar, created by the owners of Pintxo. The name refers to the naturally-filtered stream water used by Kentucky and Tennessee distillers to create their unique blends of bourbon whiskey. Branchwater showcases an expansive craft cocktail and bites menu with Southern flair. The concept was inspired by co-owner Amanda’s Kentucky roots. The neighborhood bar exudes a casual scene with indoor circular fireplace to make you feel at home with a sweet touch of Southern hospitality.
Starting January 16th, Commonwealth, the Kentucky Bourbon Bar in Belltown, is changing its name to Branchwater. The new name refers to the naturally-filtered stream water used by Kentucky and Tennessee distilleries to create their unique blends of bourbon whiskey. Branchwater better describes the Belltown Bourbon bar with a Southern flair and avoids any confusion with Commonwealth Tavern in Snoqualmie. The drink and food menu will remain the same but will now showcase the recently released Single Barrel Bourbon created exclusively for Branchwater by Russell’s Reserve Distillery in Kentucky.
